The Safety Experience Training Centre provides “Silver Card” safety training courses for Construction Workers of Specified Trades, and is divided into six zones:
Personal Protective Equipment, with safety shoe accident simulator
Working at Height, with working platform and stepladder accident simulators
Lifting and Rigging Plant, with slinging wire and body impact simulators
Virtual Reality screen
Hazardous Substances, with electric shock tracker and solvent explosion simulator
Hot Work and Fire Safety
Machinery and Trapping Hazard, with jamming accident simulators
The goals of the Centre are to maximise the effect of education by experiencing live-on site activities; to provide state-of-the-art safety trainings through the application of innovation and proven technologies, and to escalate safety awareness and knowledge in the construction industry.
The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) has set up a “Private Columbaria Affairs Office” (PCAO) to handle matters relating to the implementation of the Private Columbaria Ordinance and provide executive support to the Private Columbaria Licensing Board. The PCAO comprises the Licensing Board Secretariat, the Branch Administration Unit, the Licensing Team and the Enforcement Team.

The Detective Training Centre provides quality in-service detective training for members of the police force, as well as training in basic investigative techniques for a host of government departments, government related bodies and, occasionally, non-government organisations.
