Aberdeen Tunnel, Hong Kong Island, and Hospital Authority Head Office HR Training Room, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Kowloon
Elephant has recently completed two projects: the first is the installation of a 10-panel video wall in the Aberdeen Tunnel control centre located in Wong Chuk Hang, which replaced the previous rear-projection wall. The video wall streams feeds from CCTV cameras inside the dual-tube tunnel in each direction, above the toll plaza with 12 toll booths, and a graphic display of live statuses at each of these locations.
The second is the installation of AV and video conferencing systems for the HR training rooms at the Hospital Authority Head Office, located inside the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kowloon. The Hospital Authority aims at bettering the performance of individuals and groups in the organization, to build a truly competent workforce. Training programs are offered in five areas to make sure staff can develop comprehensively: i) clinical skills; ii) language skills; iii) computing; iv) patient care; and v) leadership and management. Moreover, different training programs are designed specifically for different staff groups and job levels. In order to allow staff to learning flexibly according to their own schedules, the Hospital Authority has also established an e-Learning centre for the staff’s convenience.
