The Civil Service College formulates training policies and provides support to bureaux and departments in training and development matters.
Its four core functions are:
i. senior executive development;
ii. national studies programmes;
iii. human resource management consultancy services; and
iv. promotion of a continuous learning and e-learning culture in the civil service, through the web-based learning portal – Cyber Learning Centre Plus.
The newly installed AV systems, which include a 5 x 5 panel video wall measuring 6m wide x 3.4m high, will enable to trainers to lead large training sessions, use the video wall and control the lecture theatre lighting according to their purpose and preferences. Two adjacent classrooms have also been outfitted with live-streaming equipment to add overflow capacity.
