The Medical Device Division (MDD) is responsible for implementing the Medical Device Administrative Control System (MDACS) and developing a long-term statutory regulatory framework for medical devices. The MDD ensures that both general medical devices and in-vitro diagnostic medical devices supplied in Hong Kong meet safety, quality and performance requirements.

The new systems enable users to conduct internal meetings, as well as carry out interviews with both new vendors and institutional users of the medical devices.
